Youth With a Mission Burundi history
YWAM is an international, non-‐denominational Christian training and social outreach organisation. Founded in 1960 YWAM is operating internationally out 1100 campuses, in 180 countries. Acting in Burundi since 2012, YWAM Burundi’s campus is currently situated in the village called KABEZI 16 klm from the capital city Bujumbura .
YWAM has been involved in a range of activities from staff training to community and social justice programs. Over 100 children attends different services for education Preschool and Primary school and in a holistic approach reaching out to the community of Kabezi from their faith to their basic needs.
YWAM Burundi was started by native Burundians, Jagen and Ruth Nzunguri, YWAM Burundi have been running Discipleship Training Schools and other different trainings.

Youth with a Mission Burundi, (YWAM) that for many years has helped in many ways to bring about positive impact in the lives of Burundians who experience the pain and pangs of hopelessness, suffering and potential collide on a frequent basis.
YWAM is excited to be amongst those that God is using during this pruning season of Burundi. With current ongoing investments in rebuilding infrastructure, political decision-making and economic transformation, our desire is that our vision would have a positive impact on the many lives we hope to transform.
YWAM Burundi’s mission is to evangelize, train, and disciple children, youth, and families of any background in Burundi; to support, prepare, and restore their future for betterment of their lives.
